‘Working in the Woods Today’ is a photographic exhibit showcasing the recent history of logging that will be on display at the Museum at Campbell River beginning January 27, 2012. Curated by local photographer and writer Hans Peter Meyer, this exhibition features superb images with informative text about the men and women working in BC’s coastal forest industry in the 21st century. Meyer grew up in the Comox Valley, and as a young man, worked in the woods and on the booms, and then for several more years in reforestation. In 2002, he started photographing the coastal forest industry, first for Truck Logger Magazine.
