12th - An Intimate Evening with Sylvia Browne ~ Tidemark Theatre
Sylvia Browne is a world renowned
psychic and spiritual teacher. She is also an author, lecturer and researcher
in the field of parapsychology. She is well known for her genuine, down to
earth style and personality. Sylvia has appeared on numerous television shows
including "Unsolved Mysteries". "Larry King Live" and was a
weekly guest on the Montel Williams Show for more than 17 years. She has over
50 published books with 22 appearing on the New York Times Best Sellers List. Sylvia
makes many public appearances each year and during her two hour one woman show,
she will take questions from ticket buyers in the VIP section, plus she will
take some questions from other ticket holders through random draws.

– Lego Day ~ Museum at CR
Hey Kids, it’s time for another Lego Day! That’s right the
Museum at Campbell River is offering another wonderful opportunity to put that
creative brain power to use. On Saturday, April 13, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, the
Museum will host a creative and fun-filled Lego Day! Parents are welcome to
join in and co-create alongside the kids. Are you up to the challenge? Based on
past Lego Days, the kids of Campbell River seem to have no problem coming up
with new things. Lego Days are great for exercising the brain and building that
creative thinking power. The cost for Lego Day is $5.00. Call the Museum at

Pool Party ~ Strathcona Gardens (7-11)
Pizza &
Swimming Party. The funky Hawaiian decor and music will set the mood for this
event. Activities will include a hula hoop competition, pineapple bowling, and
limbo contest plus staff will also be bringing out the surfboard, boogie
boards, Dolphins and Sea Doo’s. Fee includes admission, snacks/pizza and

Dummy Downhill ~ Mount Washington
Get creative and build a dummy skier
or boarder to launch off the jump, or come cheer on others and enjoy the
mayhem! Register your dummy 11-12noon at Guest Services
with initial judging to follow. The mayhem begins at 3:30 on Go for Gold.
Dummies will be judged on creativity, take off and crash/landing. Dummies
must not exceed 200lb (90kg). Fireworks/pyrotechnics of any kind are not
permitted. Prizes include THRIFTY FOODS gift certificates up to $500!
April 14th - Crush Slush Cup ~ Mount Washington
A Mount Washington favourite! Participants
dress in outrageous attire- this year's theme: Super Heroes! Dress to impress
in the annual crowd pleaser. Registration from 2-3:00pm next to the Guest
Services Kiosk, registration fee is $15. This is a first come first serve event
with a capacity of 40 participants, so get in line early. Participants straight
line it over the giant custom slush pit, showcasing their finest moves. The
challenge is to cross the pit without getting wet! There will be prizes for
best costume, best jump and crowd favourite. From 3:30 to 5:30pm at Mount
Washington.
