  • 70th Anniversary celebration of the liberation of the Netherlands at the end of WWII. Parade at 5:30pm leading to Spirit Square for a brief ceremony, followed by a social at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:30pm.

 Wednesday, May 6th    

  • ‘A Day at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Malvern Autumn Show’ – be an armchair tourist with the CR Garden Club! 7-9pm at the CR Baptist Church Band Room 
  • Rivercity Players presents a dramatic comedy by Sir Terrance Rattigan, “In Praise of Love”, 7pm at 1080 Hemlock (tix available from CR laundromat, Impressions Custom Framing or Comfort Zone Foods - $20)

Thursday, May 7th  

  • Register with the Museum for an Intermediate level Intertidal Walk “Molloscs 101” with Sandra Milligan from 1-3pm; 250-287-3103
