On Thursday March
28th, 2013 the Campbell River Immigrant Welcome Centre is hosting a traditional
style Expatriate Tea Party. The tea party starts at 4:00 pm at the Robron
Centre and includes tea and snacks, as well as a great discussion among
fantastic people. This is a great way to socialize with other people in your
community while relaxing and sipping a cup of tea. So whether you are from the
UK, the US, New Zealand or Australia or anywhere else from under the sun, we
invite you to join us in our first ever Expatriate Tea Party. For more

March 30th – Downtown BIA Easter
Events
Downtown Campbell
River will be hopping this Easter Saturday, March 30 with lots of activities to
keep families entertained. This is the perfect time to hold an outdoor event
and the BIA is proud to present its fourth annual Easter Festivities. With
Spring just around the corner what better way to celebrate? An Easter Egg Hunt
in Ostler Park with the Easter Bunny himself will be followed by a fun-filled
afternoon featuring an animal activity farm, music, dancing, face painting,
clowns, and crafts at the Art Gallery. Easter baskets and chocolate for 300
children. Our Spirit Square will be filled with entertainment!
From 11:00am to
3:00pm.
March 30th – Northgate Free Store
Northgate Foursquare
has opened a free clothing store to serve the community of Campbell River. We
have clothes for all ages and invite you to come and see how we might assist
you.
Open the last
Saturday of each month. The store is open from 10 am to 12 pm.
Donations of good
clean clothes will also be accepted at the above times.

Come out and test your
jibbing skills in our fun Spring Rail Jam. Our spring park will be sculpted in
front of the alpine lodge for great spectator shots. Sponsored by Dragon, Bern,
32 and Nitro there will be great prizes to be won. Male/female, ski/board and age divisions 13 &
under, 14-17, 18+
Each category requires a minimum of five
participants or competitors will be bumped a category.
Registration: $10 + $5 bib deposit

All Levels Kripalu Yoga: Thursdays at Ocean Resort 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm - Build on the basic postures and explore some advanced asanas to build strength and endurance.
