Are you ready to get Poptastic? Join instructor Shannon McKirgan for a fun and educational kids’ class all about Pop Art at the Campbell River Art Gallery. The class, for children aged seven to 12, takes place over three sessions, Wednesdays, May 8, 15 and 22, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cost for Pop Art Pandemonium is $43 for CR Art Gallery members and $53 for non-members. Returning for its 4th year at McIvor Lake. You and a partner alternate between trail running and beginner mountain biking. You will switch riding/running at a series of Mystery Challenges along the course. The Finish Line Challenge will be a great one for you, your partner and spectators to watch....you will need to climb a wall, go down a slide and then go thru the Mud pit! Everyone will get a prize, it doesn’t matter how fast you are! Prizing is random, some are small and some are a little larger. There will be prizes for the top winners in each of the categories and best costume along with draw prizes at the Post Race Party. Everyone wins! The Campbell River Children’s Choir Spring Concert is here - over 70 young performers (3 choirs!) will be performing at St. Peter’s Anglican Church. Along with special guest performers, the music will range from 17th century Purcell to 20th century Charlie Parker. Shows are at 2:30pm and 7pm – tickets available at the music plant for $15 (cash or cheque). If you know some little person who loves to sing – the CR Children’s Choir is holding auditions throughout May.

All Levels Kripalu Yoga: Thursdays at Ocean Resort 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm - Build on the basic postures and explore some advanced asanas to build strength and endurance.
