Keep Calm and Enjoy Improv ‘On the Mark’ Improv is doing a
benefit performance for the CR Food Bank at Serious Coffee in Willow Point.
Doors ‘open’ at 7pm; show at 7:30pm. There will be information on site
regarding ‘On the Mark’ and their upcoming workshops being offered at the
Tidemark in September. Cash donations and canned goods will be accepted.

Coastal Black: Music & Fine Dining
Live music and fine dining from 5:30 to 8:30 by reservation only.
Platter to share is $40 per person, includes your choice of beer or wine and
the musical stylings of Luke Blu Guthrie. Menu includes potato salad, bourbon
baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread biscuits, slow smoked southwestern ribs,
smoked chicken, and caramel pecan cheesecake!
Brain Scott Art Show @ Sybil Andrews’ Cottage
Showing afternoons from August 21st to 30th at
Sybil Andrews Cottage (2131 South Island Hwy). Scott is donating a reproduction
of his current painting of the Cottage as a fundraiser for the Arts Council.
All proceeds go to kids programming. The reproduction shows the Willow Point Cottage
- a panorama with a lot of artistic licence. With an eagle’s view from the
cottage you can see Quadra Island, Cortes, the Lund Hotel, up Discovery Passage
and the Coast Mountains, Gorge Harbor, Hollyhock, Squirrel Cove and Savary
Island.

Discovery Passages Boat Rodeo
Fun-filled, free, public event in the waters next to Robert Ostler
Park. Exciting for all ages, it will include kayak demos, blind dingy races,
rope demos, bathtub races, static displays, and so much more!
Historic Boat Tour (Hardwicke & Yorke Island)
Departing at 9:30am, this boat cruise
out of Kelsey Bay will take passengers over to Hardwicke Island, around Yorke
Island and up to Port Neville. Complete with a heritage interpreter from the
Museum and a light picnic lunch, call the museum to reserve a spot for

BBQ at the
Beach Salmon has been a staple food of the natives
of the Pacific Northwest for thousands of years. Sandwiched between split
cedar poles the salmon is cooked slowly over an open fire. Enjoy
traditionally cooked wild salmon at our beach side BBQ area every Wednesday
evening during July and August. Visitors, travellers, drive-by diners and Lodge
