July 9th to July 15th

Hello Campbell River! Enjoying the sun?
After a good couple months of cloud and rain, the long awaited summer seems to finally have arrived! (not that we don't like a good day of rain sometimes to keep things green...). Already the seawalk and hikes around town are seeing more action, and smiles are growing larger every day.
Here are this week's events to help keep those smiles going!

Monday, July 9th
The Kenyan Boy's Choir Showcase is taking place on Monday at the Quadra Island Community Centre, and will begin at 7pm. This choir features 24 young men, 14 to 25 years old, who have come from different tribes in Kenya as a chance to change their lives through performing live music and dance. Tickets for the show will be available at the door, and will cost $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, or $20 for the family.
