Tidemark Theatre Lounge Series
The Tidemark Lounge Series will be held on Thursday nights this fall and will be featuring the talents of local and distant musicians in the up-and-coming music scene.
Doors open at 7pm and music will run from 7:15pm until 9:15pm and this event will be licensed! Come on down and support music in our community! Admission by donation.

Led Zepagain - Symphony to Heaven featuring Vancouver Island Symphony String Quartet
Rock.It Boy Entertainment and Gee Dan Productions proudly present led zepagain's Symphony to Heaven, featuring the Vancouver Island Symphony String Quartet on Friday, October 12 at 7:30pm at the Tidemark Theatre in Campbell River. Tickets on sale now at the Tidemark Theatre for $37.50.

Pumpkin Fest!
Our second annual PUMPKIN FEST, sponsored by the TYEE PLAZA.
All things pumpkin, including a pumpkin seed-spitting contest. Media pundit Sean Smith is ready to defend his crown!
Live bluegrass music with Mission Hill and of course a pumpkin carving contest for the kids! 1:00pm - 4:00pm in Spirit Square.

Operation Eyesight Dance
Operation Eyesight is a Canadian NGO which has been around for 45 years. Money they raise helps perform cataract surgery - restoring vision to people who would otherwise be blind for the rest of their lives. In the past 12 years, the generosity of the people of Campbell River has provided the funds to bring sight to over 1200 people. Help by attending their 10th annual Dinner/Dance fundraiser. Tickets available at the Visitor Centre for $25.

Michelle Wright ~ Songs from the Halls
Michelle Wright, the newest member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, celebrates this honour in 2012 with a special concert featuring in her first set, her greatest hits performed in near chronological order, and in her second set, a spectacular collection of world class songs from members of various Halls of Fame whose music...country, pop, soul and rock....has inspired Michelle throughout her career, from Anne Murray and Merle Haggard to Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. Art Gallery Reminders:

August 10th to October 26thSide Saddle ~ Art Gallery Exhibit
Work by artist collaborative Jorden Blue and David James Doody is bold, provocative and crafted with the highest levels of refinement. Both are graduates from UBC’s Critical and Creative Studies program and although each artist offers a uniquely individual approach, they share a common focus on the materialism of cultural codification. Side Saddle is sponsored by Denise Mitchell Interiors, and will be in the Discovery Gallery from August 10 to October 26. The Art Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 12-5pm. August 31st to October 26thNickels and Dimes ~ Art Gallery Exhibit
Jay Hanscom’s exhibition pairs mixed media drawings on paper with a series of large-scale mixed media and resin pieces on wooden box frames. He uses various motifs and cultural symbols to combine boyhood themes of masculinity and heroism with conflicting adult frustrations. Nickels and Dimes will be in the Main Gallery from Aug. 31 to Oct. 26. The Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday 12-5pm.
