Hi from the Maritime Heritage Centre!
We’re having a great summer so far we have two new summer students
Emily and Tamasyn, they are currently cataloguing all of our artifacts using
the past perfect program. There have been a few artifacts that they have been
unable to identify so we are holding a contest: whoever is able to correctly
identify an artifact will win a free pin!!!!

We have also had many beautiful
weddings in the rotary hall here this summer!

Our centre has had people come from far and wide to lay their eyes upon the piece of living history that is the B.C.P 45. Just this month alone we’ve had people from the United Kingdom, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Chile, United States and Taiwan. Looks like the Maritime Heritage Centre is world famous!
Our final announcement is that the
Centre is now open 7 days a week; it is self-guided from 10am to 12pm, after 12
guided tours are offered until 4pm!
