- Compost educator, Elaine Jansen will be releasing hundreds of ladybugs to the organic gardens to get rid of common pests without the use of pesticides or other chemicals! Remember to bring your camera – 6-7pm at 228 S. Dogwood St (CR Compost Education Centre).

- It’s time for the passage of Discovery Passage! This free and family-oriented event is in its 8th year; the rules are simple: no fees, no prizes and no motors AND you must wear a personal floatation device. Gather in the lot next to the Government Wharf – crafts in the water at 9am and push off will be together at ~9:30am. The paddle will take about 30min and there will be a greeting ceremony on the other side. It is all timed to the tidal patterns, so there will be ~25min break before the return paddle.
