  • Timberline Secondary School brings the beloved characters of Charles Schulz’ ‘Peanuts’ to life March 19th-22nd in presenting the crowd-pleasing classic “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. 7pm at the Timberline Theatre (2pm Matinee on Sunday). Tuesday, March 24th
  • The Campbell River Festival of Film is presenting a special screening of the award-winning film “Mr. Turner” as a benefit for the CR Art Gallery. Tickets are $12 (www.tidemarktheatre.com); showing at 7pm. Timothy Spall won ‘Best Actor’ at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance as the famed British landscape painter.

Thursday, March 26th
  • Antics Theatre is back with Thornton Wilder’s classic “Our Town” for Dinner Theatre March 26th-28th. Tickets ($40) are sold at CR Florist in Willow Point. Catered by Fusilli Grill.

  • Join Alex Michaels for an introductory course on fly fishing. Contact the Community Centre (250-286-1161) or the Sportsplex (250-923-7911) to take part and learn fundamental of casting, knots, water safety, river etiquette, gear, etc. Classes will be held indoors & end with a fishing excursion! 
  • CR Art Gallery’s AGM will feature the screening of a short film created by a 2016 exhibiting artist; 250-287-2261 
  • Meaningful Media Night with the Immigrant Welcome Centre at Timberline Theatre – FREE! 7pm, showing ‘Seeking Refuge’, a moving look at the lives of people who navigate Canada’s complex refugee system. 
  • The Beach Poemers Open Mic Poetry Reading at Foggdukker Coffee (907 South Island Hwy). Changing the world one poet at a time… share your poems and a great cuppa joe! All styles & ages welcome. Sign-in with Nicole by 6:20pm. Readings are from 6:30-7:30pm.
