WEDNESDAY Oct. 19th
Jam Session: From 6:30 – 9:00pm at Serious Coffee every Wednesday evening a group of musicians sit around and share music in and informal, relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome to come and join in or just sit and listen. For more info: 250-923-1312.

Seafood Cookery ~ Cooking Class
Living on the coast we have the best the sea has to offer. This class will teach you how to prepare fish and shellfish highlighting its delicate texture and flavor. Paella, crab cakes and halibut papillote are some menu items that will be featured. Class begins at 6:00pm and runs for approximately 2 hours. Cost is $65 per person. Shania Twin, Ultimate Tribute to Shania Twain: Donna Huber was surprised and pleased when she started to receive compliments from strangers commenting on how she looks like "Shania Twain". Even Shania Twain had commented that after seeing a poster of Donna, "I thought that was me!!! Donna is the best 'Shania Twain Tribute out there."
Donna has been on the road since March of 1996 as the most successful Tribute Act in Canada and throughout the United States and Europe. At the Tidemark Theatre -7:30pm. $32.50/person.

Country Blend; Tribute to Old Country Legends: Traditional Country Music and Country Gospel. Country Blend is a high energy group full of rhythm, great harmony and fantastic piano playing. At the Tidemark Theatre, starts at 7:30pm. $23.50/person.

Lego Day – Something Spooky: Use your imagination to create a frightening Lego masterpiece from the hundreds of Lego pieces in the Museum collection. Great fun for everyone! At the CR Museum. $5/child ages 4+. 250-287-3103

Mystifying Masks ~ Super Saturday Art Class: Get in the Halloween spirit with this creative mask-making activity! Use paper plates, string, paint, felts and more to create your very own mystifying mask! Admission is by donation. All material provided. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
